The Amritsar Massacre or the "Jallianwahla Bhag" massacre took place April 13th 1919.

A large peaceful crowd had gathered at "Jallianwalla Bagh" Amristsar, Punjab, India.

The British commander Colonel Reginald Dyer kept on firing on the defenceless crowd until all their ammunition was exhausted.

Estimates of those killed or severley injured was around 1000 .
